Found illegal or harmful content on Uppic? Let us know — our team reviews every report.
How to use it
Point us at the exact link
Paste the link to the image, gallery, short link or page where you found the content, as precisely as you can. Reports without a link force the team to go looking, which slows the review down considerably.
Pick a category and describe what you saw
Choose the closest abuse type, then write briefly how the content breaks the rules. If you have further evidence — the site using our link to deceive people, for instance — include that link too.
Keep the case ID to follow up
Submitting issues a case ID immediately. Leave an email if you want to hear the outcome — reporting without one works fine, but then we have no way to reply.
Limits worth knowing
- This form covers content hosted on Uppic. For content on another site that one of our links points to, report it to that site's provider as well.
- Copyright complaints from the rights holder have a dedicated form on the copyright policy page, because they need legal declarations this form does not collect.
- We do not reveal a reporter's identity to the content owner, though information may have to be disclosed under a lawful order if a case reaches legal proceedings.
- Submissions are rate-limited to prevent form spam. Sending too many in quick succession will ask you to wait a moment.
- Outcomes scale with severity — from removing a single item, through disabling a link, to closing an account and blocking an entire destination domain.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to report something?
No. Anyone can report without signing in and without giving a name. The name and email fields exist only for people who want to hear the outcome.
How long does a review take?
Immediately dangerous cases — phishing and malware — are prioritised. Everything else is reviewed in the order received. If you left an email, we follow up once the review is complete.
Can I report a short link used in a scam?
Yes, and it is among the fastest things we act on. Once confirmed we can block the individual link or the whole destination domain, after which anyone checking that link sees a blocked status.
What if the content is a photo of me shared without my consent?
Use this form and say clearly that it was published without consent — these cases are treated as high priority. If you also hold copyright in the image, the copyright form gives you fuller legal recourse.
Does it matter if I pick the wrong category?
No. The team always reads the details you write; the category only helps with initial triage. Pick the closest one and explain the rest in the details field.
