Set up two-factor authentication (2FA)

Add a second security layer with 6-digit codes from an authenticator app

Two-factor authentication requires both your password and a 6-digit code that rotates every 30 seconds in your phone's authenticator app — even a leaked password won't compromise the account.

Prepare an authenticator app

Install any TOTP app: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password all work.

Enable it

  1. 1Sign in and go to Dashboard → Security
  2. 2Click "Enable 2FA"
  3. 3Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the secret manually)
  4. 4Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm — done
Note: Once 2FA is on, every password sign-in adds a 6-digit code step.

Disable it

Go to Dashboard → Security and click "Disable 2FA", confirming with the current 6-digit code from your app.

Warning: Switching phones? Migrate your authenticator accounts before wiping the old device. If you lose both app access and sign-in, contact support.
