Set an image expiry date
Make images delete themselves automatically — from 1 hour to 1 year, editable later
Every image can be given a lifespan at upload time, and members can edit it later from the dashboard. Great for temporary content like payment slips, screenshots, or one-off work files.
Available expiry options
1 hour · 6 hours · 1 day · 7 days · 30 days · 90 days · 1 year · never (default)
Set it at upload
- 1On the upload page, find the "Image expiry" section
- 2Pick the duration you want from the list
- 3Upload as usual — the countdown starts from the successful upload time
Edit later (members)
- 1Go to Dashboard → Images
- 2Open the image and change its expiry — pick a new duration or switch to never
- 3The timer restarts from the moment you save the change
What happens at expiry
When time is up, a background job moves the image to trash — all its links stop working immediately. The file is then permanently purged on the trash cleanup cycle (7 days).
Warning: Expired images cannot be recovered once past the trash window. If unsure, keep "never" and delete manually later.
